March 28, 2025: Bristol, RI 02809 The Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) volleyball knocked off the visiting North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI), 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to North Providence for a Division 3 bout on Monday, March 31. Mt. Hope will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, North Smithfield drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Northmen host Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to clash with the Villa Novans in a non-league bout on Monday, March 31. The Villa Novans come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Woonsocket lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)
