New York High School Lacrosse - Deer Park drops to Walt Whitman
March 28, 2025: Huntington Station, NY 11746 Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Deer Park Falcons (Deer Park, NY), 15-9 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Walt Whitman advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Northport (Northport, NY) to encounter the Tigers in a Section 11 I battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton Bays for a Section 11 II battle on Monday, April 7. Deer Park will encounter a Baymen team coming off a 18-4 league loss to East Islip (Islip Terrace, NY). The Baymen record now stands at 0-4.
