New Mexico High School Baseball - Carlsbad edges La Cueva
March 28, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87122 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls baseball squad scored a tight 4-2 triumph over the La Cueva Bears.
With the triumph, Carlsbad moves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Cavemen/Cavegirls travel to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Storm in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 7-5. Cleveland won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
The Bears now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1. La Cueva will confront a Ravens squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 2-5.
