North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Sun Valley sneaks past Gray's Creek

March 28, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) and the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), witnessed Sun Valley's lacrosse squad hold off Gray's Creek by a count of 13-12.

The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Parkwood was nipped by Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC), 15-9, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bears meet the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills contest, on Monday, March 31. Gray's Creek will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 2-9 record after their 18-0 league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).
