California High School Lacrosse - Monte Vista overwhelms Junipero Serra
March 28, 2025: Danville, CA 94526 The Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) lacrosse routed the visiting Junipero Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA), 11-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to California for a East Bay - Mountain outing on Tuesday, April 1. Monte Vista will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Junipero Serra falls to 8-2 on the year. The Padres travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to face the Lancers in a WCAL outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Saint Francis won 18-6 in their recent league outing against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
