March 28, 2025: Athens, GA 30605 The Apalachee Wildcats soccer team (Winder, GA), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Friday's league match with the host Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA)
With the triumph, Clarke Central moves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Alcovy (Covington, GA) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Area 8 match on Friday, April 4. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-7. Alcovy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA)
The Wildcats now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. Apalachee will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 league win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.
