The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) and the host Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA), observed James Buchanan's softball team get by Delone Catholic by a tally of 8-2.

The Rockets (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA). The Mustangs go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, West Perry was routed by Trinity (Camp Hill, PA), 8-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Squires clash with the Hanover Nighthawks (Hanover, PA) in a York-Adams 3 bout, on Monday, March 31. Delone Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
