In Friday's non-league match, the host Diamond Ranch Panthers softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Edgewood Lions.

The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Chino (Chino, CA). The Cowboys come into the Mt. Baldy match with a 4-6 record.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA) in a Miramonte match, on Tuesday, April 8. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Giants come into the match with a 12-4 record after their 16-0 league win over Bassett (La Puente, CA).
