The Evansville Reitz Panthers softball squad (Evansville, IN), was edged 7-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN)

With the triumph, McNairy Central improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Bobcats host Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN) to face the Hawks in a 3A District 11 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 0-5.

The Panthers now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Edwards County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2.
