The Castleberry Lions baseball squad (Fort Worth, TX), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX)

The Bulldogs (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions enter the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, South Hills was overwhelmed by Bowie (Arlington, TX), 8-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 match, on Tuesday, March 31. Castleberry will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Bulls come into the match with a 6-13 record after their 25-7 non-league win over Southwest (Fort Worth, TX).
