Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Devon Prep holds off Penncrest

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Devon Prep Tide (Devon, PA) and the visiting Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), saw Devon Prep's baseball team beat Penncrest by a margin of 8-4.

The Tide (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA). The Explorers enter the Philadelphia Catholic game with a 3-2 record. In their last match, La Salle College was overwhelmed by Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA), 9-3, in a league match.

The Lions now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strath Haven for a Central match on Monday, March 30. Penncrest will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
