Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 18-0 in a non-league game.

The Bluebirds (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Scott (Covington, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Scott was overwhelmed by Walton-Verona (Walton, KY), 6-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 30. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over St. Henry (Erlanger, KY).
