California High School Baseball - Leigh loses to Soquel

Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), 10-2 in a non-league test.

The Knights now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harbor for a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, March 31. Soquel will play a Pirates team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Leigh drops to 9-3 on the year. The Longhorns host Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to play the Saints in a Mount Hamilton test on Tuesday, March 31. The Saints go into the test with a record of 5-3. Santa Teresa lost 14-2 in their recent league test against Christopher (Gilroy, CA)
