In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL), by a final score of 10-4.

With the win, Richland County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Newton (Newton, IL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Newton won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL)

With the defeat, Fairfield falls to 2-1 on the season. The Mules travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to encounter the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
