March 29, 2022: Athens, GA 30606 The Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) soccer bounced the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the win, Athens Academy moves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to battle the Wolverines in a A Private Area 8 bout on Friday, April 1. In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, April 1. Clarke Central will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 5-0 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA).
