North Carolina High School Softball - West Cabarrus holds off Hickory Ridge
March 29, 2022: Harrisburg, NC 28075 West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 5-3 in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Iredell for a challenge on Friday, April 1. West Cabarrus will face a Vikings squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Hickory Ridge falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Ragin' bulls travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
