March 29, 2022: McKenzie, TN 38201 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) and the visiting Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN), saw McKenzie's soccer squad knock off Riverside by a count of 3-1.
The Rebels now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly Central for a non-league test on Thursday, March 31. McKenzie will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Riverside drops to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN) to meet the Wildcats in a 1A District 11 test on Thursday, March 31. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-2.
