Ohio High School Softball - Urbana can't hold off Springfield
March 29, 2022: Urbana, OH 43078 The Springfield Wildcats softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Urbana Hillclimbers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Springfield improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Bethel (Tipp City, OH) to clash with the Bees in a non-league game on Friday, April 1. The Bees come into the game with a record of 0-2. Bethel lost 22-3 in their recent league game against Covington (Covington, OH)
In their next game, the Hillclimbers clash with the Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail game, on Wednesday, March 30. Urbana will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 16-8 non-league win over Bradford (Bradford, OH).
