North Carolina High School Soccer - Chapman knocks off Polk County
March 29, 2023: Columbus, NC 28722 Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, April 11. Chapman will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record.
The Wolverines now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rutherford for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A bout on Thursday, March 30. Polk County will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 8-2 league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
