Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Demons face the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a Quad County 3A challenge, on Thursday, March 30. Fike will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 4-0 league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC).

The Mariners now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coastal North Carolina HomeSchool for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. East Carteret will face a Brigade team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC). The Brigade record now stands at 1-1.
