March 29, 2023: Charleston, SC 29412 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), saw James Island's soccer squad get by Wando by a margin of 1-0.
The Trojans now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Hilton Head Island for a test on Friday, March 31. James Island will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Wando drops to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors host Bishop England (Charleston, SC) to meet the Battling Bishops in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Battling Bishops come into the test with a record of 4-2. Bishop England won 5-0 in their recent league test against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)
