Maryland High School Softball - Great Mills loses to Calvert
March 29, 2023: Great Mills, MD 20634 The Calvert Cavaliers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Great Mills Hornets to 1 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Calvert moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cavaliers host Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to clash with the Braves in a Southern Maryland game on Friday, March 31. The Braves come into the game with a record of 4-0. Chopticon won 10-2 in their recent league game against La Plata (La Plata, MD)
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Friday, March 31. Great Mills will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
