Pennsylvania High School Softball - Whitehall bounces Pocono Mountain West
March 29, 2023: Whitehall, PA 18052 Whitehall Zephyrs (Whitehall, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Zephyrs now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkland for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Saturday, April 1. Whitehall will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Pocono Mountain West falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Monday, April 3. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
