Missouri High School Soccer - Aurora overwhelmed by Laquey
March 29, 2024: Laquey, MO 65534 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO) and the visiting Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO), saw Laquey's soccer squad triumph over Aurora by a margin of 8-0.
The Hornets now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greenwood for a Class 1 District 3 test on Monday, April 1. Laquey will meet a Blue Jays squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO). The Blue Jays record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Aurora drops to 2-4 on the season. The Houn dawgs host Fair Grove (Fair Grove, MO) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-5. Fair Grove lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Hillcrest (Springfield, MO)
