South Carolina High School Softball - Berkeley gets by Fort Dorchester
March 29, 2024: North Charleston, SC 29420 The Berkeley Stags nipped the host Fort Dorchester Patriots softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Stags (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Dorman was edged by James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Augusta for a non-league battle on Friday, March 29. Fort Dorchester will confront a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-3.
