California High School Softball - Esperanza gets by Grand Terrace
March 29, 2024: Grand Terrace, CA 92313 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) and the host Grand Terrace Titans (Grand Terrace, CA), witnessed Esperanza's softball squad tip Grand Terrace by a count of 5-4.
The Aztecs now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Yucaipa for a non-league match on Friday, March 29. Esperanza will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Grand Terrace moves to 5-7 on the season. The Titans host Bloomington (Bloomington, CA) to face the Bruins in a Citrus match on Tuesday, April 2. The Bruins go into the match with a record of 3-10. Bloomington lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Notre Dame (Riverside, CA)
