In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Highland Hornets baseball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Hoover Vikings.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Copley (Copley, OH). The Indians go into the Suburban - American game with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Vikings play the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) in a Federal game, on Tuesday, April 1. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
