In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) baseball squad the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), by a tally of 8-4.

Next up, the Griffins encounter the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH).
