March 29, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947 The Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) baseball trounced the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Ravens now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dover for a Henlopen North challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Sussex Tech will clash with a Senators team coming off a 11-7 league win over Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Senators record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, William Penn drops to 2-2 on the year. The Colonials travel to Odessa (Townsend, DE) to play the Ducks in a Blue Hen - Flight A test on Tuesday, April 1. The Ducks go into the test with a record of 1-3. Odessa lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Sanford (Hockessin, DE)
