The Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) volleyball held off the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Ridge for a 6A Fiesta bout on Tuesday, April 1. Gilbert will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Cactus drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cobras host Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Owls in a 4A West Valley bout on Tuesday, April 1. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Agua Fria won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ)
