Ohio High School Lacrosse - Clay overwhelms Newark
March 29, 2025: Oregon, OH 43616 The Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) lacrosse routed the visiting Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH), 10-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lima Senior for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 29. Clay will face a Spartans squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Newark falls to 2-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Northmont (Clayton, OH) to face the Thunderbolts in a Region 3 outing on Friday, April 4. The Thunderbolts go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
