March 29, 2025: Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) and the host Myrtle Beach Seahawks (Myrtle Beach, SC), saw Academic Magnet's soccer squad hold off Myrtle Beach by a count of 2-1.
The Raptors (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Andrews (Andrews, SC). The Yellowjackets enter the AA Region 6 battle with a 0-1 record.
Next up, the Seahawks battle the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Myrtle Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC).
