The Stanwood Spartans softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Burlington-Edison Tigers to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edmonds-Woodway for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Monday, March 31. Stanwood will confront a Warriors team coming off a 6-3 league win over Everett (Everett, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
