Pennsylvania High School Softball - Carlisle gets by Red Lion
March 29, 2025: Red Lion, PA 17356 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) and the host Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), observed Carlisle's softball team get by Red Lion by a tally of 6-5.
The Thundering Herd (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Palmyra (Palmyra, PA). The Cougars go into the Mid-Penn - Keystone bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Palmyra was nipped by Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA), 8-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Red Lion will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA).
