Illinois High School Softball - Fulton bounces Lexington
March 29, 2025: Fulton, IL 61252 The Fulton Steamers softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 5 in the Steamers non-league win on Saturday.
The Steamers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. Fulton will confront a Titans team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Lexington moves to 4-4 on the season. The Minutemen host Midland (Varna, IL) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Midland lost 18-3 in their recent non-league battle against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)
