In Sunday's non-league game, the host Dallas Mountaineers baseball team scored a close 12-9 triumph over the Scranton Knights.

With the triumph, Dallas advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA) to battle the Spartans in a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Tuesday, March 31. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 2-3. Wyoming Valley West won 7-3 in their recent non-league match against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA)

The Knights now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 1 match on Monday, March 30. Scranton will battle a Buckhorns squad coming off a 6-2 league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 2-1.
