March 3, 2022: Harvest, AL 35749 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA), by a final score of 8-1.
With the win, Sparkman upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Senators travel to IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL) to clash with the Ascenders in a non-league game on Friday, March 4. The Ascenders go into the game with a record of 2-2. IMG Academy Gray lost 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA)
The Hurricanes (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Cherokee County was overwhelmed by Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL), 8-6, in a non-league game.
