March 3, 2022: San Jose, CA 95148 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), saw Evergreen Valley's volleyball squad nip Valley Christian by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Evergreen Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-2. King's Academy lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Leland (San Jose, CA)
The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Silver Creek for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 16. Valley Christian will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
