McDonell Central Macks (Chippewa Falls, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Prairie Farm Panthers (Prairie Farm, WI), 62-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDonell Central upgrades its record to 23-4 on the season. The Macks travel to Northwood (Minong, WI) to play the Evergreens in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 5. The Evergreens go into the bout with a record of 26-0. Northwood won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hurley (Hurley, WI)
