Georgia High School Soccer - Putnam County knocks off Oglethorpe County
March 3, 2022: Eatonton, GA 31024 Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the War Eagles confront the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a AA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, March 15. Putnam County will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
The Patriots now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Oglethorpe County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
