Texas High School Softball - Union Grove bounces Alba-Golden
March 3, 2022: Alba, TX 75410 The Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) softball routed the host Alba-Golden Panthers (Alba, TX), 8-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Quitman held off Como-Pickton (Como, TX), 7-4, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Como-Pickton for a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. Alba-Golden will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
