March 3, 2022: Alexandria, LA 71303 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA), by a margin of 9-1.
With the triumph, Alexandria moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, March 8. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 9-0. West Monroe won 9-5 in their recent non-league contest against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Parkview Baptist will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Griffins come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Hahnville (Boutte, LA).
