Texas High School Softball - Bangs nudges Harper
March 3, 2022: Bangs, TX 76823 Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Llano for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Bangs will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Harper falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Sonora (Sonora, TX) to face the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Sonora lost 22-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Comfort (Comfort, TX)
