The Cypress Creek Cougars softball team (Houston, TX), was routed 14-8 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Paetow Panthers (Katy, TX)

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 test, on Friday, March 4. Paetow will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 3-4 record after their 13-2 league win over Jordan (Fulshear, TX).

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Hurricanes enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Klein Cain was routed by Willis (Willis, TX), 7-1, in a non-league test.
