Texas High School Softball - McGregor holds off Stephenville
March 3, 2022: McGregor, TX 76657 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX) and the visiting Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX), witnessed McGregor's softball squad tip Stephenville by a count of 3-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to China Spring for a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. McGregor will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Glenn (Leander, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Stephenville moves to 7-4 on the season. The Yellow jackets/honeybees travel to La Vega (Waco, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, March 3. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 0-3. La Vega lost 22-11 in their recent non-league match against Manor (Manor, TX)
