In Friday's non-league game, the host Clark Cougars baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Taft Raiders.

The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Lee (San Antonio, TX). The Volunteers go into the 6A Region IV District 28 game with a 5-4 record.

The Raiders (0-8) will now prepare for their game against O'Connor (Helotes, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region IV District 29 game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, O'Connor was overwhelmed by Churchill (San Antonio, TX), 6-4, in a non-league game.
