March 3, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70611 Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sam Houston upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Broncos host Northshore (Slidell, LA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Northshore lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)
With the defeat, Zachary falls to 3-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 10-0. Barbe won 18-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA)
