New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Raleigh HomeSchool Hawks (Raleigh, NC), 52-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Garden Friends upgrades its record to 25-8 on the season. The Bears travel to Comenius (Fort Mill, SC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 12-16. Comenius lost 68-57 in their recent league bout against Charlotte Elite Academy (Charlotte, NC)
