March 3, 2023: Canyon Country, CA 91351 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) and the host Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), saw Los Alamitos's volleyball squad beat Canyon by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Los Alamitos upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Griffins travel to Lakewood (Lakewood, CA) to play the Lancers in a Moore bout on Friday, March 3. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Lakewood lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against La Habra (La Habra, CA)
The Cowboys now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host St. John Bosco for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Canyon will play a Braves squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Braves record now stands at 8-1.
