Texas High School Softball - Iowa Park bounces Wylie
March 3, 2023: Iowa Park, TX 76367 Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Plains for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Iowa Park will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Wylie falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Abilene (Abilene, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 16-2. Abilene won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against McKinney (McKinney, TX)
